Why Afloat Conference?

Some years ago, I realized there were so many things wrong with my business. But I didn't know who to talk to. I was experiencing staff theft on grand scale, I was selling and making millions daily but couldn’t account for my profit, i didn’t know how much I had in my business, anytime I need to restock, I was always looking for more money amongst so many others. My business was growing in number of years but not growing in capacity. I knew something was really wrong. I was I had worries, huge one. I had questions surrounding everything about my business…but there was no one to talk to. I tried to reach out to a few reputable people on Instagram that ‘seemed' like they could help but it's either they were not available or they wanted me to pay a fee that I couldn't afford.

Then, I came up with a plan after figuring out how to get my business back on its feet over a period of time with branches across Nigeria.

Mrs Folake Omotoye is God’s daughter first. She is a wife to an adorable man and mother of 3 beautiful kids.

As a chartered accountant (FCA) with two decades of experience at PWC, she has honed her professional skills. Her academic background includes a degree in Economics from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.

In addition to her successful career, Mrs. Omotoye is the CEO of the renowned Babe4life Ankara brand, which has established stores in Palm Mall Lekki, Jabi Lake Mall Abuja, and Ikoyi. She is also the convener of the Wealth Paddies community, a multi-faceted community with diverse subgroups dedicated to savings, investments, starting and growing side hustles, a financial book club, and a dropshipping platform, among others.

Furthermore, Mrs. Omotoye is a committed investor in real estate, both domestic and international stocks, and various other business ventures. This is backed by a track record of results and wealth of experience, which she passionately passes on to others.

Her fervent belief is in encouraging individuals to pursue their dreams and destinies while building fulfilling lives. Her impact is quite remarkable in this aspect. Her coaching has transformed lives, guiding individuals from debt to financial freedom, while nurturing thriving businesses under her mentorship.

Through her investment club, she has empowered over a thousand women to invest in real estate, domestic and international stocks, fostering a community of savvy savers and successful investors. Her dedication to empowering others financially is truly inspiring.

Toyin Akan is an Entrepreneur with 19 years experience, she started her first business in 2004.

From 2004, she has been a supplier to multinationals like Chi Limited, Dangote, RB Nigeria, RB Ghana, African Consumers amongst several others. She has been part of projects involving branding and rebranding of Dettol, Chivita, Dabur Tootpaste and so much more by supplying branded promotional items like Beach Umbrellas, Uniforms, Tshirts, Road show items etc

Toyin is also a Digital Marketer, a Sales Coach and a Sales Strategist operating under the brand name Naijasalesmaker, she is currently the Lead Coach of the Popular Life-Changing Sales Academy that has transformed the lives and businesses of over 40,370 business owners.

She is a Wife and Mom to an adorable Daughter.

Dr Ella Ezeadilieje is a social media influencer, popularly known as VERONICA’S DAUGHTER, with a committed following on different platforms, renowned storyteller who has made a name for her brand, telling stories of her childhood, life, marriage and trending social issues.

She is passionate about women and youth empowerment, known for her honest views on sex, marriage, relationships and life.

She got her first degree, a BSc in Political Science from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, followed by a Masters Degree in International Relations and most recently, a Doctorate degree in International Relations, both from the University of Port-Harcourt.

A serial entrepreneur with many successful businesses, She is passionate about any and everything women and this is evident by the myriad campaigns and seminars she holds to educate women and equally guide them as they navigate the charts of motherhood, marriage and life even as she encourages them to discover themselves and carve their own niches.

Dr Ella is the convener of the BUSINESS, BALANCE & BEYOND SUMMIT, one of Port-Harcourt’s biggest Business and Personal Development events, which brings together thousands of people annually.

Born in Jos, to a family of 6 children, a native of Akpo, in Aguata LGA of Anambra state,
